Oats boast a range of benefits and they can supercharge your breakfast. Cooking your oats, however, takes away too many wonderful nutrients from the oats. Here’s a simple way to make your morning oats that packs the nutrition.
Here's what you'll need
- Shredded Coconut
- Mixed Berries
Pour just enough hot water to cover everything without it looking soupy. Allow it to sit for a minute.
Next add berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, or strawberries) and smash into the porridge with a fork. The berries will naturally sweeten it up.
Alternatively, you can also place your oats in a jar with nut milk overnight in the fridge, then add in the nuts and fruits in the morning!
