With every day feeling shorter and shorter, eating out seems to be an easy solution to a busy day. As we all try to choose the best choices for our family, there are a few things to always keep in mind:
In other words, if there is a special on hamburgers for $3.99, the quality of the meat given to you is only worth $1.
So, on that note, your best food choices are those that you can ask for the cream or sauce on the side.
Food choices like Mac and Cheese offer your child very little nutrition and are digested more as a sugar which will only disrupt temperament and focus.
At the end of the day if you don’t prepare your own food, you don’t know everything that is in it. Your body, and that of your children, is a temple. That temple should be filled with amazing nutrition and just the right combinations of Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fats to give you excellent health and vitality. It’s great to eat out every once in a while, but many times the convenience of eating out will come at a cost of mal-nutrition and excess calories. Choose your food wisely at home and on the streets!
